Glass House- Marella Discovery
SCES completed a very prestigious project for the Deluxe Group on board Marella Discovery, the project consisted of the installation of a very cutting edge lighting control system, all lighting and power. Our team installed nearly 6miles of cabling including all penetrations and terminations in a 3 week timescale. All works were completed at Anchor during very difficult times in 2020/2021.
Over the past 10 years, South Coast have completed many marine based electrical and security installations, from lighting to CCTV. They have been completed either in drydock or whilst sailing. We have worked on ships in the UK and worldwide alongside the ship's crew and passengers, completing our projects with absolute minimal disruption.
Oceana CCTV installation

SCES were subcontracted onto Oceana for the CCTV upgrade of there existing Bosch system during its refit.
Queen Victoria Refit (Sailing)

During 2019 SCES was awarded the electrical upgrades of the QV crew area whilst on the run over a 3 week period. During this time we re wired all the power and lighting, added a full controllable Helvar lighting dimming system, Adapted the AV and added in USB charging points for the crew.
TUI Explorer Refit (click on the video)

SCES was awarded the electrical upgrades of the TUI Explorer whilst in dry dock in Brest France. During this time we re wired all the power and lighting, added a full controllable Helvar lighting dimming system, Adapted the AV and added in USB charging points for the passagers and added in LED handrail lighting to there Aft of the ship.
WindSurf navigation lighting upgrade

During standard customer operation SCES have installed a full LED navigation lighting system including cabling a new touch screen head end monitoring system. All of the works were completed in service and whilst at sea including all commissioning.
